We have carefully compiled the most important aspects of household cleaning maintenance into our cleaning checklists and worker training modules.
Our cleaners are required to pass cleaning induction modules and buddy shifts to ensure that when they arrive, they are ready to work.

All of our cleaners are vetted and trained properly so that when they come to you, they can complete the cleaning work that they have been booked for efficiently and effectively.
Our cleaners are equipped with professional cleaning products and microfiber cloths to use on your surfaces. They will also arrive with the tools for the job which includes a vacuum cleaner and mop to leave your floors clean, hygienic and sparkling. For hygiene reasons, you will need to have your own toilet brush as we do not carry these in our pack.
The cleaner will work on the usual tasks completed in a booking, or to a list you have compiled.
Additional cleaning
Easily ask for other tasks to be added onto a booking in advance. The cleaner will arrive with the knowledge, tools and cleaning products to complete the task.
Choose your cleaning frequency
Almikleen’s house cleaning services can be booked on a weekly, fortnightly, or as a one-off clean.
Do you want the cleaner to use your vacuum and mop?
If you have a suitable and safe vacuum and mop for the cleaner to use, you can choose for them to use yours instead if you like. However, we cannot guarantee the work if you supply a vacuum and mop that does not work, or is not suitable for the task at hand. So it is very important that the vacuum and mop are a good quality, easy to use item that works safely.
- A safe vacuum has no electrical problems. A clean vacuum canister or bag, and an extension cord that is a suitable length to reach all areas of your house.
- A good mop is one that uses water and can be wrung out easily in a matching bucket with a wringer (not wrung using hands). Vileda spin mop is a great example.

We accept card payment for our cleaning services. We use Stripe payment processing, which is safe and secure.
We don’t accept cash due to safety concerns and inconvenience of getting cash out, cleaners transporting it and finally banking it.
We allow electronic funds transfer into our bank account if you have booked a service where you are using NDIS, DVA, or Over 65’s Home Care funding. These services are invoiced to the relevant agencies who manage the payment to us.
If you book an hourly rate service, the cleaner will be there for the time booked only. The time starts from when the cleaner arrives at your house and gains entry.
When you have booked a flat rate additional service (ie Oven Clean), you are paying for the service completion; not the time it takes. So, no matter how long the cleaner takes to complete the task, it will be completed.
No, you don’t need to be home. Many clients prefer to leave a key for access. If you choose to do this, make sure to use a safe method like a key safe and don’t forget to let our office know where it is and the code. That way we can assist our cleaners to gain entry quickly and easily.
Yes, our cleaners bring professional cleaning products and supplies to complete the clean.
Upon booking your clean, we give you the option to choose if the cleaner provides a vacuum and mop or not. This allows you to save some money if you have suitable equipment for the cleaner to use.
You must provide a suitable toilet brush that stays at your house however. This is for hygiene.
Yes, prior to commencing all our cleaners must provide a clean criminal history check.

Hourly rate cleaning is paying for the time that the cleaner is there. So you simply pay an hourly rate per hour of work.
Please note that if asked for an opinion of timeframe without seeing the house, we can only estimate how long something could take to clean, it’s not an exact science and there are variables to consider.
If inadequate time has been booked, there may be parts of your house that cannot be cleaned due to the time constraint.
Our cleaners and office staff are available Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.
We do not operate on Public Holidays.
