Built from a small cleaning business into something bigger.
Almikleen began in 2020 as a small family cleaning business with a simple goal – to provide great cleaning services while creating a workplace where good people are respected and valued.
As we’ve grown, that philosophy hasn’t changed. Today, we’re building different ways for great cleaners to work with Almikleen – whether that’s as part of our employed team or by running their own cleaning business as a Registered Cleaner.
We’re still proudly Australian owned, and we’re focused on keeping things professional, straightforward and rewarding for the people who work with us and the Clients we serve.

Almikleen offers two different ways of working. Some opportunities are as an employee of Almikleen, while others are for independent cleaning businesses joining our Registered Cleaner network. The type of opportunity available will depend on the work, location and your circumstances.
Yes. You can let us know you’re interested in employment, becoming a Registered Cleaner, or both. We’ll discuss the opportunities that may suit you.
Employees are paid an hourly wage in accordance with applicable workplace laws and award requirements, together with superannuation and any applicable entitlements.
Registered Cleaners operate their own independent cleaning business. Each Booking Opportunity shows the payment for the Booking before you accept it, so you can decide whether the Booking suits you. Applicable Almikleen fees and charges are deducted in accordance with the Registered Cleaner Agency Agreement.
For employees, Almikleen provides the equipment and cleaning products required for their work. Registered Cleaners provide and maintain their own suitable equipment, products and supplies.
Employee opportunities vary depending on where Almikleen currently has Clients and vacancies. Our Registered Cleaner network is also expanding, with Brisbane inner-city areas currently a key focus.
This depends on the opportunity and service area. Some roles and locations require reliable transport between Client homes. Any specific transport requirements will be explained before you accept a role or proceed with an opportunity.
Cleaning experience is highly regarded and may be required for some opportunities. We’re particularly interested in people who are reliable, professional, communicate well and take pride in delivering a high standard of service.
Registered Cleaners must operate their own cleaning business, including holding an ABN, maintaining the required public liability insurance, meeting Almikleen’s screening and compliance requirements, and supplying their own suitable cleaning equipment and products.
Yes. Within our employed team, there may be opportunities to develop your skills and progress into positions with additional responsibility as Almikleen grows. Registered Cleaners operate independent businesses, so their opportunities are different from an employee career pathway.
