I’ve been a cleaner for ages. Almikleen has been good so far. The training videos were pretty detailed, and I thought they covered off everything. The customers have been respectful and kind, and all houses are fairly close to my house.

In 2019 Almikleen started as a small, family cleaning business completing regular cleans, bond cleans etc. Almikleen has grown in size since it’s beginning and we have built a reputable, Australian business that our clients trust.

We have both employees and contractors. When we have our first chat with you, we will ask you what you would prefer and we explain the differences between the two.
At Almikleen, we strongly believe in levelling up our own people and giving them the opportunity to grow within our company. We have career progression opportunities available that you can strive towards and additional training that you can undertake if you would like to level up.

We also have roles within administrative support, HR, accounts, marketing and sales to explore.
If you are a contractor, you will be paid as soon as the client pays us. The clients are required to pay on the same day as the clean.
If you would like to be an employee instead, we pay our employees weekly.
We have a few kinds of work and different rates of pay.
Contractors generally earn over $52 per hour. Some of our work is flat rate per job, and some of our work is hourly rate.
Casual and part-time employees are paid according to their experience level and the award. They are also paid travel allowances for time and kilometers, and paid superannuation as a standard.
We have work for people who have cleaning supplies and for those who don’t. When you have an interview with us, we will discuss what you need for each kind of work we have available. Some work types have minimum requirements. We will let you know prior to accepting a job what is required.
We offer you work that is near where you live. You will have the opportunity to accept or decline the offer.
This will depend upon your location and how many jobs you want to complete per day. It is best to have your own car and license to drive if you want to complete more than one job in a day. You would also need a car if you are intending on taking a vacuum and mop and other supplies that are more than what a person can carry in a backpack.
We usually receive more job requests that ask for the cleaner to have a vacuum and mop, and other supplies, so having your license and a car to carry everything is best.
Experience is not necessary. Being able to learn fast is the best skill that you can bring.
When you start with us, we have induction and training videos that explain in detail how to complete each task. You can watch these as many times as you like and you can always practice at home if you want to improve your speed or skill level.
