Housekeeping Service
Almikleen Housekeepers are in a league of their own. They are not just cleaners, they can complete a greater range of tasks around your house including cooking a meal for dinner. Just think how great it is to come home to a tidy, organised home and dinner has been prepared as well.
Our housekeepers arrive at your house and take care of everything you need. They can complete the following household tasks:
- cooking and meal preparation,
- cleaning and dusting,
- laundry, folding, putting clothes away, ironing,
- organising,
- making the beds.
Our Housekeepers can take care of many of your household domestic needs. Easily make a booking and we will send someone to help with your housework.

Unlike our Cleaning Service, our Almikleen Housekeepers do not arrive with a vacuum, mop and cleaning supplies. Instead, they will need to use the supplies and equipment in the household. Our Housekeepers are a quick and easy to implement solution to your needs. Almikleen Housekeepers are ready to go as soon as they arrive and are happy to take on the tasks that you would like a break from.

For those with NDIS funding, the answer if yes we can also provide services to those funded by NDIS. Our Housekeeping Service can be a wonderful and cost effective solution to Support Workers. Our Housekeepers can do most of the same things as a support worker can do in your home, however they can’t assist with personal care or leaving the house. The sign up process is very simple as we have Relationship Managers who are ready to get the service agreement set up in line with NDIS rules.
We can also help if you are funded by Department of Veterans (DVA), or funded by a Home Care Package through My Aged Care. Our Relationship Managers can help with most funding types. Please feel welcome to discuss this with us if you are unsure.

It is important to know that our Housekeeper hiring process is quite particular. We receive many applications, but we don’t just hire any person looking for work.
We put the applicants through a strict hiring process to make sure that they are the right kind of people for the job and have a great attitude towards completing house chores. We prefer experienced persons, but we will take on people without experience if they have a great attitude to learning on the job and practicing their craft to perfection.
The kind of things we are looking for when we hire:
- Great attitude.
- Experience is preferred but not essential. Similar experience is fantastic as well ie housekeeping in a hotel, or commercial cleaning.
- Can communicate effectively and can understand client requirements.
- Have reliable transportation.
- An eye for details and a flair for creating organised, clean spaces.
- A kind, and friendly nature.
- Reliable for work and can commit to a recurring schedule.
- Trustworthy.

Our Housekeeping services are available throughout Australia and in all major cities. If you have come to us requesting a Cleaner, we can also waitlist you for one of our cleaning staff while you have one of our Housekeepers help you out in the meantime.
We like to keep the same staff member with our clients as much as possible. So you will get to keep that staff member if you like them for as long as they are available.
If you decide that one of our staff isn’t right for you, it’s easy to change to someone else. Just let us know and we can organise a different person for you to try out.
